If you're looking for an engagement ring, GO SEE MARCO! He custom made my ring and it is amazing. I went to a few places looking for the perfect ring and couldn't find anything, then I went to Solitaire and explained to Marco what I wanted and he told me he could make it in a couple of weeks. Well one week later he made the perfect ring for me. His work is quality and the price was right. He and his wife are the nicest people. This is definitely the place to go when looking for jewelry.

I just wanted to take a moment to show my gratitude to the folks at Solitaire & Bridal by spreading the word that this is an amazing Jewelry store. I make a relatively humble living and didn't even know how much the parking was so, it took some time to work up the courage to visit this location. After all, this jewelry store is considered by many to be one of the finest on Oahu. Please don't let the location and almost unapproachable demeanor keep you from stopping in. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mr. Marco Salem, his wife Mira, Marco's Computer Specialist, Mo as well as Hui. Mr. Hui Ding is one of the states premier Jewelers who's shop is also conveniently located at the Century Center. I originally stopped in to sell some of my gold for some much needed cash and, ultimately have a chain of mine that needed some TLC worked on. Marco did not hesitate to offer me a coffee or Juice and we "talked story" in the sitting area while Hui repaired my chain. After my chain was done and it was time to go, I realized that I had just made four new friends. This store is clean, cool and conveniently located. By the way, when visiting with Marco, the parking is on him!

Excellent service and good value.

I had a bunch of jewelry I no longer use so I decided to try to sell them. I tried several places but I got the highest amount from Solitaire. Marco is very friendly he doesn't pressure you to sell after an offer is made. I was happy with the amount and would definitely return if/when I decide to retire any jewelry.

I bought a Tiffany bracelet for my secretary and Solitaire staff was courteous and the price was good. The gift made me a star at work. Thanks Solitaire.

We have a lot of jewelry from a store we closed few years ago, when we had time to sell it, I went to Marco. There are several reasons why Solitaire gets and deserves 5 stars.
1. There are many businesses out there claiming "highest paid" for unwanted jewelry, but only Marco keeps his word; the rest are out to rip you off. He was willing AND did negotiated a price with me because I wanted more than he initially offered.
2. He explains in detail about your jewelry without pressuring you to sell it. He informs you on his price offer to buy, his price to resell OR what his plans are for it, and the price it is sold else where. He's also willing to inform and answer your questions honestly and to the best of his abilities even if you weren't interested in selling.
3. He responds to emails and messages very quickly, usually by the next day. He responds so quickly he doesn't give time for you to ponder "i wonder if he got my email" thought. It is nice to know that you can get a hasty response which makes you feel as though you're an important customer.
4. Another great quality is that if he is not interested in your piece he is willing to help you find someone who might be through his contacts. I had a piece he didn't need and wasn't interested, he offered to call around to a few people he knows thats might be interested.
5. Not only does he buy jewelry, Solitaire also sells exquisite jewelry! The jewelry there is of great quality and beautiful.
6. Him and his staff are always helpful, courteous, and friendly. It gives a welcoming feeling when there is great customer service.
The list can probably go on but if that's not enough already, I'm not sure what you're looking for! Usually when selling their jewelry, it's a difficult decision to make whether it is sentimental or financial, and it is a difficult process to go around price quoting. What you probably want is a honest, reliable, and easy way of doing it; Marco gives just that and more.
